ASSESSMENT OF THE NUTRITIONAL STATUS OF OVERWEIGHT AND OBESE PATIENTS BY AN ANESTHESIOLOGIST

According to WHO data, in 2016 the number of adults with excess body weight exceeded 1.9 billion (39 % inhabitants our planet over age 18), which more than 650 million (13 %) suffer from obesity. Due high prevalence, doctors meet and patients overweight obesity, they need nutritional correction at pre-hospital stage. Obesity as a result overeating, but paradoxically, can be accompanied by deficiency, therefore deficiency is determined not only low weight, also inability maintain optimal internal state body. Patients obesity should screened examined according such criteria (validated scales MUST NRS-2002) that are used general clinical practice, for certain disease, screening insufficiency/inadequacy nutrition.
